The 49th BCS (Special) MCQ type written exam will be held today, Friday (October 10). Before this, the exam seating arrangement, schedule and various instructions for students have been published on the Bangladesh Public Service Commission website.

The 49th BCS (Special) 2025 is a special BCS of education. 683 posts of general education cadre will be recruited in this BCS. A total of more than 3 lakh 12 thousand candidates have applied for the 683 posts of the 49th BCS (Special). The number of applicants against each post is more than 456.

Schedule and Center
It will be held on October 10 from 10 am to 12 noon in 184 centers in Dhaka.
What the candidates should do
1. Candidates must enter the examination hall by 9:30 am. No candidate will be able to enter the hall after 9:30 am.
2. Answer sheets will be distributed among the candidates. There will be four sets of answer sheets, namely set # 1, 2, 3 and 4.
3. After the distribution of the question papers, no candidate will be allowed to leave the examination room until the examination is over (12 noon).
4. It is completely prohibited to bring books, all types of watches, mobile phones, calculators, all types of electronic devices, bank cards or credit card-like devices, jewelry and bags into the examination center.
5. During the examination, candidates should not wear any covering on their ears, their ears should be kept open. If any type of hearing aid is required, the approval of the commission along with a specialist doctor's recommendation letter must be obtained.
6. No application by candidates to change the examination hall will be considered.
7. Arrangements have been made by the commission to appoint dictation scribes in response to the application of disabled candidates. No one other than the dictation scribes nominated by the commission can participate in the examination as dictation scribes. For visually impaired candidates, 10 minutes of extra time will be given for every hour of the test in the case of dictation, and five minutes of extra time will be given for every hour of the test in the case of other disabilities.
