The private Asha University Bangladesh (ASAUB) has officially inaugurated the ‘Research and Innovation Cell’, which aims to further strengthen the culture of research and innovation in the country’s higher education. The inauguration ceremony was held at the university’s IQAC conference room at 11 am today, Tuesday. Later, the ribbon cutting ceremony was held on the first floor to announce the official inauguration of the cell.
The chief guest was Md. Belal Hossain, Vice-Chancellor of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. Md. Ali Akbar, former Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University and Kazi Shahdat Kabir, Vice-Chancellor of the private City University. In addition, Professor Mohammad Faruk, a member of the Board of Trustees of Asha University Bangladesh, was present. The ceremony was presided over by SM Rezaul Karim, Vice-Chancellor of Asha University Bangladesh.
